Hello, Kurt, King of Kustom!

I would like to get some of the usual mods for my M17s please:

The tall "P" rail in place of the carry handle - $95
Longhorn charging handle - $40
Under-rail - $55
The usual oval cooling slots, but only five per side please - $75

Also, I see from Spitfire's message that you'll remove the sling mounts when you mount the under-rail. How much to mount a sling swivel on the left-front of the receiver, like the ones pictured in the gallery? I couldn't find a price for that.

I can send the upper at any time you're ready for it.

Thanks!

Great! So it adds up this way:

Top rail $95
Charging handle $40
Under rail $55
Cooling slots $75
Sling swivel $15
S&H $15

Total: $295

Is that right? Just let me know and I can send it any time you're ready for it.

Thanks!

Howdy, Kurt!

Hey, I know it’s only been a couple of weeks and you’ve already got a million things to do, but I just wanted to check & see if you could maybe give me a ballpark guesstimate of when you might be able to slip my M17 mods into your schedule. Just curious. You know how it is - I just don’t feel quite right without my pup.

Thanks!

I'm finishing up a batch of 22LR barrels/uppers today, then Evo's, then about 4 M17S's. I'm waiting on a pup I just bought too!
Thx!

That sounds great! I can't tell you how much I look forward to getting my pup back & trying it out with the new configuration. The stock sights on that carrying handle are just awful! But with good sights/scope it's a laser. The M17 really NEEDS your mods to make it useable. Thank you for doing what you do!

And you've done how many of these and don't have a pup of your own yet? I figured that was how you got into this. I've been watching these develop since I first saw a magazine article about the Bushmaster Armpistol back in the early '70s. Besides, I can't afford an AUG.

I've had a few, but guys made me offers I couldn't refuse. This latest one into my battery will be full-house, and may become available in the future. I'm putting together a building fund. Gotta keep progressing...
Thx!

Now THAT I can believe! Hey, if I was you I'd be working on a new one all the time too - always progressing, like you said. I've wondered how many of the pups in the Gallery started out as your own.

And please keep me posted on that new one. I'd like to see what you do next. Too bad Bushmaster pulled the plug on the M17s. Somebody should buy the tooling and update the design to keep 'em rolling, eh?
