I haven't been able to check up on this in awhile, but last time I checked you were having some problems getting this going. IIRC it was some legal issues as well as moving to a new facility. So what is the status now? Is this project available yet? If so what price? Good luck, and thank you. Stephen.

After Bike Week, I will have 5 sets together. M9EvoM4 See the other M9EvoM4 thread on this on this page. After Bike Week, I'll be sending an upper to Paul Markel, the fellow who penned my 2 articles for Guns and Weapons for Law Enforcement, for perusal. Thx! ----------

Yeah, NOW I'm ready for Daytona Bike Week! 17-4 SS Oprods and O1 tool steel karrier keys just completed, and ready for heat treat:
I'll drop these off while I'm in Daytona. I already have one of the karrier keys that I heat treated mounted to the the carrier I've been running, so 5 sets of these heat treated parts will be done! Thx! ----------

Parts are enroute from heat treat to KKF. I need a case of ammo. 500 rounds will be expended in proofing. I have enlisted the help of a customer (my Honda V4 mech) to help me. Let's see what happens next! Thx! ----------

Hi John! I'm flexible. Let's get together! My VF1100's (RoadWarrior) sick. Carbs, I think. I never did like how the bike ran after Tony did the carbs, I need a synch/balance, I think, but I'll leave the diagnosis up to you. He dyno'd 102 rwhp, and I think he can do better. What do you think of the CarbTuneII? Thx! ----------

Over at my oldest son's yesterday for a BarBQ, we were working on Son # 2's Honda F2. Swapped out the carbs to a set of 'racing' carbs, and son # 1 balanced/synched with a untit that went down the velocity stack (like he does with his Webbers). This does NOT afford tuning with K&N's installed, however, so I think it's rich. We swapped swingarms (with a CHROME one), and installed a lowering link, and then I dropped the front 3/4" for him. We got a LOT of work done over beer on his bike, new front and rear drive sprockets too. Thx! ----------

John, John, John...I REALLY want to get together on this, and get this upper sent off the the magazine. Bro says he wants to be here too (he's moving back soon, from Clermont). A long lunch seems like a stretch, since it's 30 minutes over here (at least) from Champions Yamaha. 500 rounds is a lot of shooting. I don't want you to get in any trouble. Did you happen to see the Daytona 200 video? Kawi's place 1st & 2nd. Grrrr... You don't have a nice used VMax over there, do you? The Evo will fly! Thx! ----------

SUCCESS!!! 500 rnds. down.
This stuff was $160/500 rnds/delivered. If you want one of these, you can put 1000, 2000, 5000 through it. This KKF M9EvoM4 is a WINNER! Thx!Thanks to John and Bro, who did most of the shooting while I was more of a mag loader. I wanted to watch it work, and I couldn't do that looking through the sights. I didn't get up until 10 a.m., the result of some bug in the house this week. I was up and 4 a.m., jettisoning from both ends, and crashed until midmorning. The day was overcast, and Bro radioed me that he was leaving his place at noon to come over. When we decided to get started, it was sprinkling. The sprinkles turned to rain, and we went back to the klubhouse to load mags. By the time John got here, everything was wet. I rigged a patio umbrella over the shooting bench back at the berm, and testing commenced. John got my VF1100 Sabre back up and running decent. Kudos to John for that. I still feel crappy today, but also feel great about the Evo! My youngest son made it halfway to work this morning and hurled, so he came back home. I was just in the house. He's hurling again. Nasty bug. ----------

BTW, in stripping the upper for cleaning the barrel/chamber, the receiver/bolt raceway was REMARKABLY clean, and the bolt/carrier appeared exactly as it was when slid into the upper before testing. This thing runs CLEAN, and no 'Gasbuster' CH is NEEDED! ----------

This run of gas blocks is done (I scrapped one, dammit)!
I know, I'm behind, but you guys have no idea how much time is involved with producing these from 2x2x1 inch steel barstock on the manual machines (mill). Just remove all the material that doesn't look like a KKF gas block, right? I'm beat. Then there's the M17S Kustoms in here, and 22LR uppers (1/2 dozen here to build, and delays in getting barrel blanks). I tell ya guys, I need to get these CPU's in the 2 CNC machines rebuilt/upgraded. They sat too long, and the CPU's need motherboards. I found the transistors I need, what a search! Rebuilding/upgrading them will make them really rock. Joined CNCZone.com to re-educate myself on the stuff I've been away from for 25 years. A lot has changed, but my mid-80's machines can be upgraded, so.... that's what my bud and I are going to do. Another member of the Fightin' 420/Sumter Division, there's nothin' we won't take on. He and I are also involved in the Hydro project, so soon we won't need gasoline/diesel. They can shove it. It's late, and she's calling me for supper. Thx! ----------

Hey Kurt, I'll take that scrapped one! Mill off the rest of the bayo lug and the sling point and make it nice and smooth. I haven't needed a bayonet since '91 and I use a one point sling mounted on the buffer tube.

Sorry, the scrapped one never made it this far (#6). Luckily, I scrapped it early before I had so much work in it. It's spoken for and will become another style that fits under the HG. The 5 shown above are perfect, also all spoken for, unless you have a conversion in here already. Thx! ----------

 Very cool. Thx! ----------
